...Snow showers with embedded snow squalls expected this afternoon...

Web cams and current radar trends show snow showers with embedded
snow squalls continuing to develop across the eastern Adirondack
Mountains and parts of central and northern Vermont. Any snow
squalls will be accompanied by brief heavy snow, gusty winds, and
sharply reduced visibilities. These conditions will produce
localized very hazardous driving conditions during the afternoon
and evening commutes. Motorists should exercise caution and be
alert to rapidly changing weather conditions. The threat will
quickly improve after sunset tonight.
