Today in Vermont Weather History
From The Vermont Weather Book

1888 - Spectacular "sudden change" at Northfield: drop of 49 degrees to -29 in 40 hours, followed by rise of 68 degrees in 32 hours on 15th to 17th.
2007 - Valentine's Day storm. Very heavy snow in northwest Vermont. Burlington set new 24 hour record with 25.3 inches. Other amounts included 36 inches in Cambridge, 31 inches in Jericho and Hinesburg, 29 inches in North Underhill.
