1852 - Late-season snowstorm left 18" at Newbury, 16" at Randolph; 6" at Burlington; Hanover, N.H. (across from Norwich), had 33" total in April.
2007 - Nor'easter moving along eastern New England resulted in very destructive downslope winds along western side of Green Mountains. Thousands of trees downed in Rutland, Pittsford, Brandon, Mendon and Proctor.
